Check into your eco-lodge near the edge of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve, relax, and enjoy the tranquil sounds of the jungle.
After breakfast, embark on a guided trek through the Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Accompanied by a forest tracker, discover endemic birds, rare amphibians, and towering tropical trees. In the afternoon, travel to Udawalawe and check into your hotel, preparing for tomorrow’s safari.
Rise early for a thrilling 4×4 jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park, world-renowned for its large population of wild Asian elephants. Watch herds feeding and bathing in their natural habitat. Later, visit the Elephant Transit Home during feeding time before continuing your journey to Tissamaharama (near Yala).
Experience a full-day adventure in Yala National Park, famous for having one of the highest leopard densities in the world. Traverse through diverse landscapes of scrub jungle and brackish lagoons in search of leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, and vibrant birdlife. Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
Leave the deep jungle behind and drive along the stunning southern coastline towards the vibrant beach town of Mirissa. Check into your coastal resort and spend the rest of the day completely at leisure. Relax on the golden sands, swim in the Indian Ocean, and enjoy fresh seafood.
Set sail early morning on a specialized boat tour from the Mirissa harbor to witness majestic Blue Whales and playful dolphins in their natural ocean habitat. In the afternoon, visit the historic Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, exploring its charming cobblestone streets and iconic lighthouse.
Enjoy your final tropical breakfast by the beach. Depending on your flight schedule, you will travel up the scenic coastal highway back to Colombo. Your guide will safely transfer you to the Bandaranaike International Airport, concluding an incredible wildlife adventure in Sri Lanka.
